billwot. A. Greenspan's speech did brighten Sonny's day even though the market went lower later in the day. But he complained about Mr. Rubin's speech today. He felt the market would have been better off if he had kept silent. Not that he said many things wrong. But the market took it that way anyway. Most of Asia can get themselves out of their misery if they put their mind to it. We are helping enough already by having a trade imbalance and it looks like it is getting worse. Sonny thinks the GM problem did not help the market either but he still believes that the market will go a lot higher.

CPQ should do well pretty soon. Despite the flat qtr and the conf.call about the DEC merger, it did not go down after the market closed. Hopefully tomorrows analyst meeting will go well.

Sonny thanks you for the well wishes.
