Gary, Many Thanks!!! It appears that Your constant DD has saved us all including the company from a great big problem that was being perpetrated by a "DIRTY DAN FISHER"!!! It appears nothing has been lost and much has been gained. Frank

To all:

I have contacted the EPA and all the DF-144 materials should be actually signed by the Acting Director within a day or so. What follows next is a fax to the company (Arcon) who will be able to distribute it as they please. This would officially take DF-144 off "under review" and into "approved" status. The 2 people I spoke with thought it was mere formality at this point.

For those of us who are new to this, approval does not mean that the company claims to efficacy are true; it merely means that the EPA's opinion is that there will be no detrimental effects to exhaust systems and (I think) as a pollutant. Everything else in terms of the Arcon claims must be proven independently and will be - by the companies such as Exxon or whoever has the contracts with the company.

I feel this has satisfied my personal curiosity.

On another subject, it is interesting all the crap that is coming out in the last few days. Initially, as a P buyer, I thought that the price went down after the May 29 deadline, so I expected it to stabilize at 2/3 its previous price (because the "dividend" was no longer in effect). As GaBard said, the scandal has really given additional "meantime" buyers of P free shares IF do we indeed get the split and makes P all that more of a bargain.

Best regards,

Howard
