Don,

I think it is very consistent. I agree that management needs to give up some control to the outside investors & subsequently increase the stock float. I value the long term outlook as much as the next person, but I also expect a great return on my investment when 1) there are no dividends, 2) the company is the leader in a growth industry and 3) there is a lot of risk.

Their IPO and the DT issue brought in a lot of money for them to build a business but a lot is sitting in the bank. If they'd use it to grow revenue & market share (and stock price) they could easily come back with a secondary offering for more money. In some ways, don't you feel they have blown what lead they had by coming to market first.

Also what is implied by having so much control vested internally (and no checks & balances between stockholder & management) is that the outside investor can never effect a change in management or business direction in the company he or she owns. Sort of the worst of both worlds - "hey pal, thanks for the money, but now can you just leave me alone".
