Tod C, where did this figure come from:

You're kidding right? You have a very subtle way of posting misleading questions and information on this thread. I've also read on another thread where you posted denigrating remarks about ICVI and those that are professed to be long-term investors.

I do not believe your interest is sincere, and if I am wrong I will apologize. However, you seem to be fairly knowledgable in asking some of your questions so I bet you could find the answer to all of your misleading and doubt inducing questions. Btw, this is not one of your better questions.

I got the information from one of the most obvious places that most people who come here to question every little detail seem to overlook, the press releases.

Good luck and I hope you join us in providing some answers during your DD.

Tod

This figure was discussed early on in the thread (along with the $/ton sale price figure). I can not find messages but they were shortly after the original announcement. As I remember the conclusion was that even if these figures were off slightly it really does not change the value of the company very much simply because of the size of the reserves. I also remember a discussion on how USGS usually underestimates reserve sizes so that this would more than compensate for any underestimates on extraction costs or overestimates of sale prices.

If anyone can post the links to those messages it would be appreciated.

Hope this helps.

Eric
