I will report on this and more at the upcoming PC Expo here in NYC. The PC Expo would make an excellent forum for formally announcing the release date for the Sony HiFi 200MB floppy-compatible disc drive.

It would also make an equally great forum for Castlewood Systems to release Orb to a ready and waiting public. The appetite is huge for this device. Just read Usenet to see what I mean. I know that I'm grabbing a SCSI Orb as soon as it is available.

Not only that, HiFUD doesn't even exist! You're right...it does seem to blow.
