That's what they all say. I think all that button will do is take the place of double clicking on an icon.... and you've still got to go through an ISP, unless you spend thousands a a month for a direct on-ramp to the Info Highway.

I don't mean to dampen the enthusiasm; Compaq focusing on ease of application rather than just hardware is a good sign. I don't think processor speed will move big volumes of computers at premium prices any more, as most current applications operate splendidly with a "mere" 166MHz Pentium. The hook has to be ease of use until a new processor intensive killer ap is popularized.
