Probably but so is shorted shares ... so I do not understand your point.

If they sell fradulent shares they have to buy them back. Period.... If you own them then that does not matter it is whoever they can get to sell them shares at some point.

C'mon guys think about it you bought shares on the open market ... SOme broker had to sell them it is up to them to get them back ...

They are not going to care from who ether just some who will sell them shares. Remember it is a share count not the transaction ... If only 200K is the free trading float and the DTC shows 350K then there is a 150K short position and the bokers will have to go to the narket and buy back those shares to cover. If the split happens on xdate their short position is compunded.

You havenothing to worry about only the brokers.
