Surely Sony wouldn't enter a business unless they believed they could make money eventually/somehow, would they? So how will the HiFD eventually pay for itself and make them money?

Sony does this because they make a killing on the software
liscencing, just as Sega did and Nintendo does. If there are
non-existant tie ratios for removable storage, why would Sony
bother?

These HiFD arguments have been going on for almost a year, and
HiFD is even more of a "Vapor" product to this point than clik!
Their website still says to look forward to it in spring 98.

If you are going to kill IOM, in part because clik! is Vapor,
how can you argue that HiFD, another Vapor product, will be their demise?
