Understand your point. Just wanted to remind some that all those low end machines, most of which are Intel Inside anyway, just might be the fuel for high-margined product demand. All, I'm sure, as you and Paul and others have noted here before. Understand that much of the NT server demand is enterprise based, but suspect a not-insubstantial (Greenspanism <g>) amount can be traced to all those AMD subsidized boxes connecting up with the rest of the world. AMD shareholders give $ subsidy to a few million grandparents so they can wire up and get e-mail from their kids and grandkids. Grandparents then transfer AMD subsidy to ISP's in the form of monthly fees, who in turn transfer the subsidy to Intel by purchasing more high-margin servers. No worries.
Life goes on. Intel makes money and AMD eventually goes down the tubes.
