nemer - you must have been calling for a bear market for the past 8 years. Of course people have been calling for LA to slide into the ocean far longer than that. Bu so far, no bear market and LA still on Land.- ratan

Amen,

Lived last 13 years in California...11 years working in LA, living in Orange Co. and 2 years in the SF Bay area.

Wife finally gave in (after much beggen) 1 1/5 yrs ago relocated back to Texas. (Great to be home...DFW area.)

Southern California seasons....FIRE, FLOOD/MUD SLIDES, QUAKES, RIOT.

I don't mind dodging the T's in Texas. All my vehicles still have half their trunk space taken up by California Emergency Back packs, water and extra ammo. Landcruiser has everything in it but an self inflating raft.

Of course if you got tired of driving the freeways...just pause at your local Seven Eleven...and someone you don't know (of course caring his own 9 mil protection) will volunteer to drive your car....without you of course!

Sunsets...just a orange glow in the smog!

Texas...Sure it is a lot hotter and mugger than I remember...but I'll take it.

Regards,
LG
