Doug,
Your recovery spread sounds good. I am very confused on how you execute these trades when you are closing the positions. I can't sell my calls for a profit without first buying back the ones I wrote. So how do I collect my profit while letting the long calls expire worthless? Can you (if you have the time) give those three scenarios you mentioned, with exactly HOW you close the positions?

Thanks a bunch,

Ryan
