Jerome -

Uses for a SanDisk CF card in an auto:-

1. As a security device.

2. To store general map and associated information - downloaded over the telephone every day or once a week

3. To store personal information relating to trip miles for tax information for claiming auto expense on your tax return

4. To store personal information relating to your regular routes for certain journeys so that it could interact with radio information concerning road works and traffic jams and so provide alternatives all of which could be removced from your auto so that you have security of your persoanl information if your car is stolen.

5. To store personal information relating to the auto or the driver so that police could insert the CF into their own personal reader and then check the information concerning the vehicle and the driver.

6. To remove notes that you have made on your in-car PC and take them back to your home PC to be used and stored.

7. To store in bound faxes to the auto's phone and communications equipment. I assume that within a year or so autos will have more communications equipment built in than merely a mobile phone.

Thats just a few but I'm sure others have more potential uses.

Sad about the drop today. We just can't seem to get this bird off the ground!!!

Regards,

L

zacks.newsalert.com

2. Yahoo post this evening shows the date of the court hearing in California as I think the 17th July and case management on the 24th July. Forgive my memory but just have a look over on Yahoo at this evenings posts.
