Yogi;

<<Now if I can just pick the proper path,>>

I could not agree more with your post. This is an unprecendented opportunity. It is tempered, unfortunately, by the need to take some worst case precautions in case the whole world market tanks. But I believe the proper path isn't all that difficult. The world is still hugely paper document oriented and there are reams of visual applications waiting for bandwidth and cheaper/faster storage. Yes...cheaper and faster. Seems almost silly to talk about now but that is the undercurrent that will continue.

For me Seagate & Quantum come to mind. Increased in SEG today and bought a small QNTM position. I also bought WDC again today but its a short termer. And I will hold on for the rough ride. The competitive head of steam is almost certainly going to find an escapement soon. P.S. - avoid indy components like the plague. HMT will warn this quarter - or surprise in the wrong direction. I also happen to like VECO right now but they are the only cap equipment company I like. I am getting close to liking Zygo again. Looks like a chance for another ride from 12 to 20. If it happens it will be the third time this year.

P.S. - Still 61% cash BTW. Visions of dog food for dinner keep me so.

Best,
Stitch
