Sec, before you go long in Asia do yourself a favor and read the NY Times magazine from this last Sunday. I's a real eye opener. The bottom line is that most of those tiger companies never made any money. It was all an interest rate arbitrage. The earnings were an illusion based on borrowing in dollars and lending in local currencies and depending on the govt. to support the currency. When the currencies collapsed the whole house of cards came down. TTFN, CTC

Seczebra, Hi!!! Thanks for the advice and nice comments about this thread...you are quite aware of how I feel about the Dell people on this thread....I am sure they too appreciate your remarks . So, you think one more down turn....??? For what reason did it tank today? Gateway even announced it felt comfortable with 2nd qt. earnings...Drew called me this afternoon....was out in gardens when he called and he was happy....this sell off is what he was waiting for...now, he can BUY MORE DELL...
