i spoke to carl thompson and assoc. yesterday and asked them
(sheila whitman) about the rights offering. her reply was "there
are still some details to clear up with the sec", i got the feeling
that it won't be too much longer. when it is finalized we will be
getting the offer in the mail to buy more shares directly from the
company (fiberchem).
we also chatted about the somewhat extraodinary price and volume
action of the day before. she had no idea as the why of it. i reasoned
that a whole lot of people woke up monday and decided to take a
position in fiberchem, as the activity was non-stop all day long.
lastly, yahoo finance center (on-line of course) has a new feature
of insider activity. i can definitely say there have been nothing
but buyers of fiberchem for sometime, from mr. hewitt (ceo) on down.
that really gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling as it is the best
endorsement that can be had. infact, the only sales were by the
pr firm liviakis (sp?) which sold quite few shares this past winter,
when it looked as though fiberchem might disappear from the screen.
again, besides this company's sales of fiberchem stock, just about all
the sales have been purchases by insiders.
soon i'm hoping we'll start to see the beginning of a long move up.
maybe its already started?

cheers
