don, Thanks for looking up your numbers. They are pretty revealing. But I don't understand the "Earnings" column? Profits in 1Q98 for S&P 500 was up around +2% (I think I've read, +1.5% all the way up to even, +3%). What earnings does your chart refer to? Bill, Oh, I get it. So maybe Greenspan's statement wasn't so bullish afterall. He sure slid that one by me. So it may have been a bearish statement in disguise. Just when I thought I knew, "Greenspeak."
