Well let me telya, if she thought she lived near a Superfund site she is even less Jersey than Bruce Springsteen....

Springsteen is the Back Streets/Factory guy.....but in reality he grew up where the Morris County Forbes magazine people and Jacqueline Bouvier and so forth went on holiday.

Berkeley Heights....is almost as wealthy as my neck of the woods. We got John McMullen (Devils) Lautenberg (ADP + Senator) Yogi Berra, John Cali, had Bill Bradley and a ton more in Montclair.

Berkeley Heights has close to the same level of money. You don't really think there is a superfund site near there, do you?

Please don't get offended. I did grow up in a trash neighborhood. Ask your wife what East Orange was like....I also went to St. Benedict's in Newark. We were always a bit stunad when people like Springsteen would talk about their "tough" days, down at the beach. "What the @#$$% is he talking about? The best days of my life were spent where he was on the 'Back Streets'".

All a matter of perception I suppose. Now a guy like Pesci....he was a Newark/Belleville dude. That ... is a Jersey guy.

EDIT Don't forget the King Family, who live just outside of Berkeley Hts.....one of the most wealthy families in the country (King Features Syndicates). They spend summers in Bay Head....near where Bruce Springsteen grew up.
