Joe, Any Spelling is better than Tori. -g- And, yes, I have noticed. I have seen downturns, though not big kahunas, where precious metals and oil did not do very well. However, since they are out of favor now, I consider them somewhat defensive in the "if you want to own something" category. Platinum, palladium and rhodium are somewhat unique in that production is less than demand. True, there are inventories, but those have to be drawn down someday. Come on, some day. -g- MB
