re high-end servers Judy, If you have not read the Harvard Business Review article, I strongly encourage you to do so. Then we can talk about customer hand-holding. I am not sure that DELL is in the high high-end server market, at least, not yet. In general, DELL takes the order and builds to customer specifications. That includes, as I recall, installing off-the-shelf as well as the customer's proprietary software. It then burns it all in and checks for hardware defects as well as software conflicts. This is going to be VERY difficult to do for companies using the channel. JMHO, 3
