Hi Jason. IBM has been in the rumor mill a lot in the past few days. why, i don't know. there was an ugly rumor spread last friday, at the close that they had won some of Dell's business from Boeing. it's since been quashed. the only thing i could find today was another rumor concerning IBM and GMGC. here's the link: boards.fool.com there was a real long article on the Voice/Holy Grail thread about IBM flexing muscle around voice recognition products that came out Monday, i think. don't know if there's a fit between the two, or not. i have to go over and get that link. be back in a minute...

there was only one line in StockRumors.com about GMGC. i think this is what Carbo was talking about: MAY 21, 1998 RUMOR BEAT Different day, same quiet rumor mill. We only heard takeover rumors in General Magic (GMGC) $10 15/16 up 3/16.....Also, rumors of a Sony Corp. (SNE) buying a stake in General Instruments (GIC) $24 5/16 down 11/16......Other than that, we will not force the issue tomorrow unless something really stirs the pot, so have a good weekend, and we will start up on Tuesday, May 26. (yawn)
