midbob et al,

1. Roper has filed documents with ASE, with Joanne Butts in the surveillance dept. This done June 9 and confirmed by Joanne. Tim Daley yesterday said nothing filed, but I suspect it just has not made it to everyone's desks at ASE yet.

2. Roper will divest itself of the mining interests. These will be taken over by Silver Peak and Golden Arch. News release from Silver Peak has been written and will come out when approved by all that need to approve it. Roper's business will be devoted to Lifeline.

3. ASE - Joanne, as of June 11/98 - relevant documents have been filed, more may be required. RTO review will start any day now as soon as a listing agent is assigned to the file. RTO rules are very stringent and she has no idea how long it will take. She knows Roper is in a hurry, and says it may get fast tracked but not to count on it.

4. Roper AGM is in Calgary tomorrow. Anyone in Calgary that wants to go should call Roper and get the address. Meeting is in the lawyers office and I don't think a shareholder has ever been at one. Hope that some one can go and report back to us.

All I can tell you for now, hope that helps.

Jim
