>Russia, Pakistan and now WDC in my portfolio.< Are you using closed-end country funds for Russia and Pakistan? I have to admit, you've got guts.

But how the heck do you decide at what price, or time, or whatever, to buy or sell those things?

Best of luck.

Larry

PS: The tech sector is ugly (disk drive and chip stocks), but the DJIA and S&P500 are close to their highs, as well as the utility average. Just goes to show you that it's not always easy making money in a bull market, no matter what people say.

That was dumb, but I was dumber: I bought WDC at 15 3/4 yesterday and tripled up at 12 this morning. Yeah I thought it was so ugly I thought I might be seeing a bottom. As for how soon they may announce positive steps, I dunno. Pa said, "Make hay while the sun shines." Ma said, "Life is like a box of chocolates." I say my chocolates are melting in the sun. Think I'll sell soon and wait it out.

BTW, is anyone familiar with the 1.4 GB drives which HP puts in printers such as this LaserJet 4000? lj4000.hp.com

Z, I was tempted as well, but didn't act. All my stocks now
have great potential.
