Sal...now factor in that IMS reported script counts are only about 60% of true sales.....so actual script total IMS reported and others
would be ~23,000 a week

6 to a pack = 138, 000 units a week * 13 weeks in a qtr
get you ~1.8 million units a qtr in the USA

Project that out for 25 additional countries this year and more in 1999
The new plant can produce ~6 million units a qtr at max capacity

Now you see why they are building another plant in 1999 in Ireland......

PS .....VVUS will be able to produce at $3.00 less than current cost in the new plant....$2.75 per unit....selling to Astra and Jansen for about
$7.00 a unit......

USA product being sold thru VIVUS at a larger profit

TAKE THE LONG TERM VIEW...PROJECTED EPS FOR 1999 are currently estimated at $1.33 ....YR 2000 could be ~$3.00

Once this is realized by the investment community we'll return to a p/e multiple of 20-25

Sal,

With your 19500 scripts per week, does this add

19500 x 52 weeks x 100$ x 0.2 (margin) x 1/31 million shares out

= 0.68$ to EPS? Or have I got it wrong?
