Michael,

From Rockdoc on Yahoo
The results of one clinical trials study presented in San Diego at a conference for opthalmic surgeons several weeks ago revealed a greater than 80 percent correction to 20/40 or better using the SNRS laser for the correction of hyperopia. These are outstanding results and statistically comparable to excimer laser results for myopia. The difference was that there were minimal side effects with the SNRS procedure compared with a much higher percentage of side effects and "overcorrection" with the use of the excimer laser to correct myopia. The application of the excimer laser to correct hyperopia has been discussed in numerous postings and I won't repeat it here. Bluntly stated, the use of the eximer laser to correct hyperopia comparatively sucks. The value-added of being quick, painless, "non-contact," and less expensive makes the SNRS technology superior to any other laser technology.

This probably answers your question but for the purpose of discussion. i purchased SNRS and am long because I believe in this technology such as many others on this thread. What is more meaninful however is the excellent TA posted by Rainer, Fishin2 and others. If Sunrise owned this technology and had no competitors, and everyone who needed treatment had to use Sunrise technology, within a few years we'd be looking at an incredible stock price.

Perhaps with competitors, we're looking at an eventual $30 to $40 stock. What does any of this have to do with a stock at $7 7/8. I don't expect a few thousand shares of one stock to become the sole determining factor in my retirement plans.

I just want to make a profit, and with SNRS, I have a better than even chance.
