The HD theory goes like this:

Economy does well, people buy new houses and builders use HD (somewhat) and people shop their to furnish new houses and new used houses.

Economy does poor, people fix up their current home and shop at HD.

I bought 90 shares this morning (was able to buy more than the 50 by selling something else) at 82 7/8.
It promptly went down.
Sorry folks!
Wait until after June 23rd though. It will split at 80, be 40 post split, and promptly go to 50. No matter what the DOW does.
