Oh, okay, Melinda!!! You are talking about the savings and loan scandals, which ended up with taxpayers paying billions of dollars for a bail out. At first when I read your post, I thought you were talking about Saturday Night Live. Clinton and everything around him are definitely Saturday Night Live material, so I was a little confused.

One thing about the Frontline special is how geographically beautiful Arkansas can be. I have never been there. It seems lush, and peaceful.

Clinton betrayed his friendship with McDougal. It would have cost him very little, politically, for Clinton to extend some sort of helping hand in getting him a job, as he had promised McDougal's mother. The way Clinton's life soared into the presidency at the same time McDougal ended up basically homeless and totally broke, has the makings of Greek tragedy. It was a really good program.
