To All, for a very specific perspective of the 'dillema'
that MRVC longs face, please read replies # 739 & # 740 by Frank A. Coluccio on the Voice-on-the-Net (VON), VoIP, Internet (IP) Telephony thread. If the perception of technically 'evolved' people such as Frank, can't make sense of the 'tenco babble' pr, many of us with far less industry background have little or no chance of receiving anything other than an 'investor edumacation' via MRV stock price swings. As understanding goes up, volatility goes down.

How very interesting that his approach to the company, via the website & the resulting confusion certainly echoes the opinion voiced by many on this thread. MRV needs to carve out a more cohesive & comprehensive corporate persona. Each portion of this 'corporate mandalla' can remain operationally independent, while simultaneously reinforcing an identity which is greater than the sum of its parts. This is not currently being done.

If MRVC is to go it alone, & not look for an immediate buyout, if we desire stock price appreciation & not investor frustration, then both the $$$ & effort necessary to provide a more interpretive & educational 'window' into the world of MRV technologies is probably necessary. Anybody trying to 'decipher' the evolving technologies knows there must be a better way to present MRVC's story to interested parties. Investors already wait for 6-8 weeks between press releases, we receive absolutely no contract notification, & information that is released does little to enhance investor knowledge. The resulting & well known stock price action is predictable. By acting to clear up this 'shroud of disinformation' MRV would be acting in the best interest of its investors.

Thanx to whomever forwarded Frank's post to Noam, perhaps we will get some clarification. By addressing these issues MRV can help facilitate an identity which corresponds to the technical leadership position it adheres too, consequently removing barriers that continue to frustrate long term investors in the company. Regards.
