Linda,

It's very interesting that you can get 3 Vasomex's for the price of 1 Viagra. From a consumer's standpoint, that tells me Viagra isn't as effective as Viagra. Let's assume I didn't know about the results from the clinical studies or any of the published data. I go into the store looking for spanish fly and find that they sell something for hardening the woody. I look at the price difference and decide... hmmm. It's for my most favorite part of the body, and my intended use should be exceptional. I think I'll go with the good stuff. Think about this. When men buy condoms, they buy what feels good, regardless of the price. They aren't buying the cheapy stuff just because it also rolls over their penis like the ultra sensitive ones. Methinks ZONA's strategy with the 3 for 1 may get them a trail from users, but the proofs in the erection. If you can't get it up, you can't get it in. Imagine the embrassment saying "Honey, you know I really love you, and I really want to (insert your own explitive) tonight, but its those damn cheapy Vasomex pills. Next time, and please let there be a next time, I'll buy the good stuff.

<<As of last week they were offering Viagra for $10 and paying $7 to PZE for each pill. No real sale of Vasomax had started, there wasn't much interest in it, but the pharmacy was offering Vasomax at 3 pills for the price of 1, at a price of $10 (but for three). Assuming they were also paying $7 for three Vasomax pills, (as they were paying for Viagra which they were selling at $10) then their cost on Vasomax was $2.33 cost per pill. Zonagen hasn't disclosed their percentage but assuming it's 22%, they're getting $.50 a pill. >>

What are the dosage levels in the pills (Viagra and Vasomax)? Is the Vasomax price an introductory price to get share from Viagra? If so, this would be typical for the introduction of a new product into an existing market.

FYI, the "official" response in regards to the most recent filing delay is reportedly that the filing was "basically done" weeks ago, but SGP is making some changes to it in order to ease the presentation of the data to foreign countries.
