I worry about big increase with little volume. The MM like to play the game of raising the Ask quickly when the thread is excited (and they do read our SI threads) or news is released. Sometimes they even sell short (even shares they don't have) into the wave of early morning buying. Why? Because our actions typically follow the same patterns. Then when the initial buying subsides, they walk it back down on little volume to cover the short. What's more impressive is a quick rise on very heavy volume!!! GGG So how do you play this morning rise and subsequent dip? Don't unload your entire wad into a morning frenzy. Save some for the dips or wait for the dips altogether.
