Rudedog,

That agrees with what I was told yesterday, and that is, Compaq is budgeting for 4X service revenue within 2 years. Sorry but I can't reveal my source, so take it for what it's worth.

rudedog --- If CPQ does not include 3-4000 layoff's along with the DEC layoff's (15000) tomorrow I wonder how the market might re-act ? CPQ needs to get it PC manufacturing cost structure down to be profitable . I feel that the DEC service support will be a big plus to selling to the business community but the manufacturing unit has to make money in it's own right . Any thought's ?
