As far as I can tell, they would not have gotten the milestone payment if they hadn't filed and the FDA hadn't accepted the filing, by end June. So I assume that SGP paid them the money now that they would have gotten if they had filed by the end of June and the FDA had accepted the filing by the end of June. It's just a one-time payment so I don't think it matters that much to the value of the stock. But why did SGP pay it, since ZONA was indeed late in filing? Could it be because SGP forced the delay in order to improve the quality of the filing? How much massaging of data can be done. The data hasn't changed in a long time. A year and a half? Some broker I know said that Joe P said they were "ready to file" in March of 1997.

If you call ZONA you'll hear a tape by Joe telling us not to worry about the new delay in filing, that material from SGP is being added to the filing. What are they adding NOW, after all this time? A prayer?
