WWF has beaten WCW in the Monday night television ratings wars for the past few weeks (3 I think).

The first time was attributed to odd hours for the WCW program due to the NBA playoffs on TNT. The last week, however, Monday night RAW (WWF) won in the head to head matchup (even with Dennis Rodman making an appearance on WCW Nitro).

In general, my wrestling expert says there seems to be a ongoing shift in hard core fans from WCW to WWF. He says that the WWF also just signed a 3 year deal with the USA Network to continue airing WWF.

So I guess it is out with Hollywood Hogan, in with Stone Cold Steve Austin. No wait! - not for another year!!!! ;-)
