CNBC: National Semi just came in inline with (revised) expectations. Loss of 42 cents. If these guys had missed it might have gotten ugly. They are the first semi to report this quarter.

TechWorks Slashes Power3D Prices - Rebate Program in Retail Stores

This takes the price of the Power3D card for the Mac, effectively down to $99. Prices may vary from store to store. Designed to give customers the top performance available for Mac and Windows 95 games, this game card is designed with 3Dfx Voodoo Graphics technology. The Power3D supports 640x480 full-screen, works with existing 2D video, the anti-aliasing feature eliminates 'jagged' edges, the perspective correction enhances realism, the MIP mapping eliminates texture 'sparkling', plus it supports 3Dfx native Mac Glide API.

The Power3D graphics accelerator has won numerous awards including Macworld Magazine Editor's Choice Finalist, 5 Apples from Mac Home Journal, a 4 1/2 rating from Mac Today, and the 'Freakin' Awesome' Award from Mac Addict Magazine. Re: Strong sales for Creative boards

Sounds even better since in all probability Diamond boards are outselling the Creative board by a factor of three or more.
