To the thread:

I finally have access to my account with Datek. After a pleasant conversation with Tim Richter and the login account manager, my time came up and I was allowed in.

On a secondary note:
While checking with my bank, however, I found out that my initial deposit check to Datek was refused by the bank (because the bank was holding the deposit from DLJ for 1 week - this due to the fact that my wife deposited the check in the night depository not to a teller who know us.... we are medium fish in a Big pond) So, I feel like I have a little egg on my face... even though Tim said they were unaware of the check being returned (it has only been 2 days since I sent it in)

So, to John Long.... it appears my account was opened before the check cleared. I am waiting to see what is the most expedient way to fund my account now... another check or bank check overnighted or a wire transfer...
