Jimbo - I know that, and that was my point. NASCAR obviously has an endorsement contract with Tosco to endorse Circle K gas with Propower...to the extent that Circle K can call it the "official NASCAR fuel". So even if racing teams took to DF144 it doesn't look like we'd get an official NASCAR endorsement, i.e "DF144 - Official Nascar Fuel Additive", etc. etc. Now it WOULD be cool to see DF144 stenciled across some of those cars in flourescent orange and maybe NASCAR's corporate endorsement wouldn't prohibit individual teams from doing that if Midland subsidizes them. As a matter of fact this is exactly how Nike "captured" the NBA...by contracting with the players individually for endorsements. An interesting anecdote on that story...remember the Olympic Dream Team? They all wore American flags at the medals ceremony. Patriotism? Hell no. All the players were under Nike contracts but the Olympic committee had contracted with Reebok and required the players to wear warmups with the Reebok logo. The players, led by MJordan himself, refused to accept the medals and advertise for Reebok so as a compromise they wore American flags over Reebok logos to preserve their obligation to Nike. So maybe we don't need a NASCAR endorsment as long as we can get DF144 plastered all over the cars(g). Anyway, talking about endorsements is certainly way ahead of where we are now. We need to produce and sell a WHOLE LOT of DF144, and it probably doesn't matter where in the world it's sold or if anybody knows about it, as long as it's in the gas!!!.
