Chile - Italy: 2 - 2

This is shaping up to be the greatest World Cup ever!. Another memorable game. The Chileans looked much better than I thought. The Italians...well, they played like Italians in the first round. A few brilliant moves by Baggio mostly. NEVER underestimate the Italians, they always find a way to make it to the second round looking awful and then before you know it they are in the semifinals at least. I knew they will not lose this game...it just took longer than I thought to tie. And just wait until DelPierro comes back. That chance Izaghi missed DelPiero would have it in the bag. So far these two teams look good enough to advance. But we haven't seen the other two yet. I haven't seen Austria play lately. But losing 3-0 to USA in Vienna sure did not look good. Yes Salas was impressive, especially in the air. Zamoranno and Rojas (this guy should become an actor after his playing days are over). The officiating was more inconsistent than the great officiating we saw in the first two games. Why did he keep three minutes delay in the first half??? And what a weird weather! In the end Italy should be happy with a tie because they could have (and probably should have) lost. And Chile, I am sure before the game started, they were saying that they will be very happy with the tie.

To all true soccer fanimals this is heaven!!
