Off the subject. An interesting article in the Wall Street about " short sellers buy common stock as well as 'Put' options." It states " Applied Magnetics Corp.'s options were a case study yesterday in fear and greed. It states that traders, who had shorted the company's stock bought stock because they were afraid their short positions would get called. At the same time they also bought 'Put" options that will go up in value if the company's stock price continued to fall. The opposite was true in the case of Bay Networks. Traders began buying back the contracts and calls.

That goes to show you that shorts try to cover all their bases, but often lose money in the process. Mark, I remember your making the meeting last year. It's nice reading your posts. Cheers All, Alex
