peter--

well, i have been taking positions in a lot things, bought some DELL in the 70s, and i am still sitting on a lot of CPQ that hasnt been underwater since i bought it. all things considered, we have done pretty well. most of our long positions have a long way to go before they take us underwater, and with the options we have it hasnt been that bad.

but youre right, it is hard to find things to buy. some people i know think the semi equip stocks are a good value now. that scares me. those poor companies are going to be feeling after effects from asia long after the semi makers have started to recover.

anyway, i know WSTL will go up, so i have just decided to stop looking at the stock price. its just too irritating.

good luck to all,
trey
