FWIW...I have talked Customer Relations and the Lab Super @ Rodeo Refinery/TOS. They seem to be in the dark as to the source of the ethanol additive presently used in the pilot program. All I can add from the conversations is this: 1) Propower does not have an ethanol additive in it...just a cleansing additive like Tectroline. 2) The pilot pumps were all converted by May 15..not an easy task. The feedback from the stations has been positive and some have shown increased volume due to the envirogas. 3) Tosco doesn't make ethanol...it is outsourced. They were pretty careful with their answers...so yes..it's still all speculation..but I like to see the positive reception for ethanol blended gasoline in California. Still in the hunt...
