Buy out candidates? Given the price consolidation in dillers/services, who are the ideal buy out candidates? There was some chatter a month or so ago about GLM being a target (since denied)...at these lower prices seems like several should be attractive to those firms with a long term perspective (SLB, etc.). Any thoughts on this subject?

Drillers are in the business of building a company...adding rigs. I think they are sometimes oblivious to the realities of the market. If they add rigs they have a bigger company and therfore they are more important...and so on...

As long as they either have the cash or someone will loan the money, they will build/buy rigs -- assuming of course they figure they can do so and not generate an ill word from the much-revered stock analysts.

It will be "a long time" before this ILION is ready to drill...I don't know the time frame actually, but I know there is a lot to be done.
