Note in CCSI's refutation the emphasis on Colormate working with all races and all skin colors. That's the "series of algorithms" at work, the "brain" of the device weighing and sorting the variables. Algorithms are the basis of much current technology - Dolby sound, cell phones that switch seamlessly from tower to tower as you buzz down the freeway, etc. There is nothing in the short seller allegations that shows the slightest understanding of the power of algorithms in modern technology. Until they discredit Colormate at this level, it is a question of market size, and CCSI's ability to execute its marketing plan. That's a serious question, but it's the same risk we face in a multitude of investments. So far, the weight of the evidence favors CCSI.
