Since I'm in a talkative mood today . . . I don't see how
Intel can NOT warn - unless people are buying their CPU's
without buying keyboards, disk drives and graphics cards . . .
==============================================================
I think when Intel management gave their guidance for this
quarter, they took the worst possible scenario and were ultra
conservative. They didn't want to look bad again. I don't
think they will warn. JMHO.

Francis Re "I don't see how Intel can NOT warn "

At the last quarter report all the talk was "flat earnings for Q2"

Now we are reminded that it is "flat to slightly lower"

I think that "slightly lower" already covers any warning requirement.
