Thanks for the update, Glenn. If anyone is keeping score out there and is still doubtful of this company, they can put a checkmark on one more promise that you and PNL have kept.

On the raging bull, this was a suggestion re: Keyword Search. Those of you who are testing it, how does this compare?

PNLK NEEDS A GOOD SUBJECT KEYWORD SEARCH FUNCTION
EXAMPLE AS FOLLOWS:

IN A LIBRARY COMPUTER SEARCH FOR A BOOK ON MATH.
THE LIBRARY MUST FIRST CREATE A SEPARATE RECORD ON THEIR COMPUTER FOR EACH BOOK ON MATH.
EACH COMPUTER RECORD MAY CONTAIN A MAX. OF 25 SLOTS FOR A MAX OF 25 SUBJECT KEYWORDS TO BE ADDED THAT IN TOTAL WILL REPRESENT THE BOOK.
(EACH SLOT MAY HAVE A MAX. LENGTH OF 30
CHARACTER POSITIONS).
AND LETS JUST SAY THE COMPUTER RECORD FOR A
CERTAIN BOOK HAS A TABLE OF CONTENTS SHOWING A
CHAPTER ON BASIC MATH, ANOTHER CHAPTER ON ALGEBRA, ANOTHER ON GEOMETRY, ANOTHER ON TRIG,
ANOTHER ON CALCULUS.

WELL THE COMPUTER RECORD FOR THIS BOOK WOULD THEN
BE ADDED TO THE LIBRARY COMPUTER WITH THE
FOLLOWING SUBJECT KEYWORDS ---
(ONE KEYWORD FOR EACH CORRESPONDING 30 POSITION
SLOT)
MATH, MATHMATICS, BASIC MATH, ALGEBRA,
GEOMETRY, PLAIN GEOMETRY, SOLID GEOMETRY,
TRIG, TRIGOMETRY, CALCULUS, MATH BOOK,
ADVANCED MATH
THUS, 12 SUBJECT KEYWORDS ARE ENTERED TO REPRESENT THIS ONE BOOK'S COMPUTER RECORD -WITH
THE REST OF THE SLOTS LEFT BLANK IN CASE SOMEONE
THINKS OF MORE KEYWORDS THAT CAN BE ADDED TO REPRESENT THE BOOK.

SO, WHEN A PERSON SEARCHES FOR THE BOOK THE PERSON
MAY KEY IN MATH AND THUS FIND THE BOOK'S COMPUTER RECORD.
(AND ALL OTHER RECORDS ON THE COMPUTER HAVING
A SUBJECT KEYWORD OF MATH).
THE COMPUTER PROGRAM WILL THUS COMPARE THE USER
ENTERED SUBJECT KEYWORD OF 'MATH' TO ALL 25 MAX.
POSSIBLE SLOTS TO TRY AND FIND A MATCH -- IF A
MATCH IS FOUND THEN A COPY OF THE COMPUTER
RECORD IS THEN PUT ONTO THE USERS SCREEN -- PLUS
A COPY OF ALL OTHER COMPUTER RECORDS THAT HAVE
'MATH' IN ANY ONE OF THEIR 25 SLOTS.

THE SAME MUST BE DONE FOR PRO NET LINK PRODUCT
SEARCHES. EACH COMPANY HAS A PRODUCT WITH ONE
OR MORE SUBJECT KEYWORDS TO REPRESENT THAT PRODUCT. IF THE PRODUCT IS OUR BOOK EXAMPLE, THEN THE SELLING COMPANY MUST ENTER ALL 12 SUBJECT
KEYWORDS INTO IT'S PRO NET LINK ASSIGNED RECORD
SO THAT A BUYER DOING A PRODUCT SUBJECT SEARCH
HAS A BETTER CHANCE OF GETTING A HIT.
IF THE SELLING PRODUCT COMPANY ONLY ENTERS MATH
BUT A BUYER ENTERS CALCULUS THE BUYER WILL NOT
FIND THE SELLERS BOOK FOR SALE SINCE MATH DOES
NOT MATCH CALCULUS.

HOPE ALL THIS EXPLAINS WHAT PLNK MUST STILL DO
TO MAKE THIS STOCK FLY. "

A question re: Swift Transfer from a potential international customer...

"about SWIFT transfer, question to Glennkrakmoon
(35/M) Jun 12 1998
10:20AM EDTI did a ["SWIFT transfer and (bank OR banking OR business)] boolian ALTA VISTA internet search and about 100 documents were retrieved.

A quote from one of them: (http://www.protego.se/howtopay_en.htm)
******
........ All other countries must use SWIFT.
There is a limit on the order sum. Large orders must use SWIFT.

SWIFT transfer
SWIFT transfer is the preferred method of payment. It is cheaper than cash-on-delivery.
You fill in a form, at your local bank office, with an account number, your name and address, etc.
You then give the clerk the money. The bank will charge you a fee for the transfer, this in included in the fee for "Shipping". The drawback is, clearly, that you have to walk to the bank....
*******

With PNLK you will probably be able to arrange payment through the Web site and all the necessary forms will be provided right there (??)

Is this correct Glenn?

Sincerely,

WW "

Smart cards coming to home computers
June 12, 1998 2:31 AM EDT

USA Today, June 10, 1998

Genplus (France) introduced the GemSAFE kit to protect computerized data, replacing password-protected software for Internet browsers, PCs, electronic mail and databases. This is a sign that smart-card readers may be used as standard equipment on home PCs. A reader can protect home and corporate PCs, for someone can get access to a protected database or PC only by inserting the smart card and using a personal ID number. Visa projects that of all Visa cards, one-third will have built-in electronic chips by 2002. Electronic commerce is forecast to reach $37.5 bil in 2002.

GLEN, MAYBE YOU CAN USE SMART CARDS IN THE NEAR FUTURE
