Annette Geddes, a partner at Spears, Benzaki, Salomon and Farril, was on Bloomberg TV today commenting on the market.

When asked about what companies she liked, she said that she liked internet stocks and an interesting company called Tava Technology. According to her, Tava has a unique niche in the factory floor space which she estimated at 20 Billion. When asked for a price target, she said that they expect them to make a little over a $1.00 next FY and that this stock should easily double from its current levels.

Best wishes to all longs,
Dan

<< 'no competitors' >>
Has been mentioned by some, but mostly not in a dead earnest tone.

We have to understand the following:

- The are a number of very large multinationals who are doing embedded y2k remediation by themselves. I know some of those companies, and people working in the field in those companies. Also, they started early (i.e. 1997 or even 1997).

- The demand is simply staggering (I suggest to read the posts on the 'embedded thread', read the Roleigh Martin site etc).

- The main reason I am long TAVA is that they have the best position in this market: long experience; long list of reference customers, proven and tested methodology, etc

Regards,

John
