Joe, Unless they are just tax scams, like Starwood, REITs could indeed rally. Especially with rates falling again. I feel that they are highly risky at today's property prices, but until we see bond rates tick up, they probably still have some upside. But don't touch the tax scams. They are a disaster waiting to happen.

An interesting trade might be long a good REIT and short the T-BOND. I haven't done it yet, but I am giving it the hairy eyeball.
