>>The 32 bit bus can create a bottleneck? If I just get a 586 chip for now it won't matter will it?<<

A 586 chip will work with a 32 bit bus. It is pretty hard to find 586 chips. The only advertisement I found for a 586 chip was on page 586 of Computer Shopper. Upgrades International's advertisement says 486 to 586 for 5V systems. Get P-75 performance from your old 486. Simple installation. Fan, manual extraction tool, AMD 5x86-133....$89.00. Upgrades International has a web site at rampages.onramp.net If Upgrades International advertisement is truthful it sounds like you won't have to set any jumpers. I have never done business with Upgrades International so treat everything said here as information. Otherwise you might have to go to a flea market to find 586 chips.

>>PS To change the cpu would I have to remove the mother board?<<

It depends upon what type of case you have and whether any drive bays interfere with your access to the CPU. But even with out seeing your case I think the probability of you having to remove the motherboard to replace the CPU is better than 80%
