Sean...

I made Primate sound too good didn't I? You're right, they don't correct squat! As a matter of fact, on May 20 when the infamous satellite went poop, it affected their feed and my download. I discovered it immediately on a few issues with totally crazy numbers.

This forced me to go through every directory in search of this mess. Out of about 2800 symbols, I found 23 that needed repairs, which I had to do manually. Of course, I routinely go through all my directories on a monthly basis to correct for splits. I guess I've been doing it so long it's just become routine.

But, all that is about to end, I suspect, as I ordered Quotes Plus yesterday. They've come out with their much delayed release 2 and it is supposed to be something to behold. WOW will read their data directly through a pseudo Metastock format that they developed just for that purpose. Any program that requires MS format, can now read QP directly. Really looking forward to it.

On the other hand, QP doesn't have anything on options or futures. I'll have to solve that as I need it. I'm no longer actively trading futures, but I am keeping the continuous contracts updated for later. Another solution needed here. All in all, I think I can make do and the benefits of QP outweigh the downside (at least I think so at the moment).
