Thanks for your reply. Actually I believe that Roger also wrote me a long time ago and mentioned that he was mainly long.

Anyway, I got your point. I am not sure whether I will short issues significantly sometime in the future, but I am fully aware that I should protect my gains in a bear market. At that time, I will use short as hedge and heavily write covered calls to balance my portfolio.
