Thread-

Where are you getting KTEL and CCSI shares to short. Schawab says no KTEL available and says CCSI not marginable therefore not available. Schwab offered me KTEL to short at 24 but I was stuck in some long positions and couldn't take advantage of it. Boy do I wish I had . KTEL looks like a good short again now. How much higher can it go.

I remember that the thing that originally drove KTEL up was that it was "making money" i.e. had postive earnings. When they announced a massive loss last quarter, I thought they would blow up immediately but they still went up 20% the day after that earnings announcement.

Unbelievable. this was a 3.5 dollar stock before the run up and that was based on positive earnings. What is it worth with massive negative earnings?

Later,
Richard

Sure --but my broker told me specificially it was not marginable, not that it wasn't available to borrow. so I guess marginable securities can vary from place to place
