As an investor, I would rather not lose 60% of my investment just to eliminate company debt. What the right thing to do would be a 4 for 1 conversion or thereabouts so the shareholder doesn't lose his/her ass AND the company eliminates debt in the same process.

I don't invest my money to lose it....regardless if the company's debt is reduced or not. And if I were to invest in this company to help them reduce debt, why wouldn't I wait until after conversion when I can buy it 60% cheaper???

After all, I work hard for my money :-)
